Menopause is a time of great transformation, so instead of trying to turn back the years, we should be embracing both the present and the future.
Mindfulness techniques can help you to manage difficult emotions, become kinder to yourself, and rediscover the woman inside who has perhaps got lost somewhere along the way. In this inspiring and uplifting workshop, you will learn simple meditations to help you feel happier, calmer, more centred and more secure. The aim is for you to feel happier and more confident about both the present and the future.
Nutrition also forms an important cornerstone of the support that you can put in place for yourself, so this workshop will also include information and a handout about the kind of foods, eating patterns and nutritional supplements that can help to support you on a physical level.
The mindfulness & meditation elements of this evening will be presented by Katie Sheen, Founder of Soul Nutrition. Katie is a fully qualified teacher who has used mindfulness in her own life for over 16 years. She continues to study in the tradition of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh, though her events are suitable for those of all faiths or none.
The nutrition elements will be presented by Joanne Hill, Director of Amaranth Health & Wellbeing.
