‘Discovering Mindfulness’ Luxury Retreat at Lucknam Park Hotel, Spa & Cookery School

Luxury Mindfulness Retreat UKThis 3 day luxury mindfulness retreat is an inspirational introduction to the breadth and depth of mindfulness, which can be so much more than a relaxation technique. If you have heard of mindfulness but are not really sure what it is or how it can help you, or have explored some mindfulness meditation but lost your way, then this is the retreat for you.

Learn simple techniques to help you feel more relaxed, positive, connected and contented. Nurture an inner core of peaceful strength, a sense of clarity, and an ability to focus more effectively.

Create space for insight to arise about whatever is needed to allow more happiness into your personal or professional life, and learn to communicate compassionately and effectively with yourself and others.

Five workshops over three days will explain clearly and precisely the basic principles of mindfulness that are invaluable to incorporate into everyday life, however busy you may be. Discover mindful breathing, sitting, walking, cooking, eating and more in a relaxed, supportive environment, including a morning plus lunch in the Lucknam Park Cookery School as well as unlimited access to the Spa and Parkland. Enjoy plenty of opportunities to practice all that you learn, so that you are clear as to how to continue enjoying simple but transformative mindful living techniques when you return home.

Luxury Mindfulness RetreatsThis retreat is open to men and women with little or no experience of mindfulness or meditation, as well as those wishing to deepen their existing practice. Numbers are limited to fewer than 10 people. 

The content is suitable for those of all faiths or none, but is inspired by the form of “Applied” or “Engaged” Buddhism taught by Zen Buddhist Master Thich Nhat Hanh, who was proposed for the Nobel Peace Prize by Martin Luther King in 1967.

Each session will include teaching, discussion and practical exercises, plus time for questions. You will also be given personal space to rest and reflect, and Katie will be glad to offer additional support if needed.

This retreat is from Tuesday 13th – Thursday 15th June 2017 at Lucknam Park Hotel, Spa & Cookery School and includes:
