Your child or children can be of any age, from babies to adults.
It is suitable for complete beginners as well as those wishing to refresh their existing mindfulness practice. You will not be asked to join in any group activities apart from a short meditation, but will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions if you wish to do so.
The event will be hosted by Katie Sheen, whose style is light, fun and fills you with confidence to enjoy using simple mindfulness techniques throughout each day, not just on the meditation cushion! Katie is a fully qualified teacher who has been practising mindfulness in her own life for over 16 years. She continues to study mindful living in the tradition of Zen Buddhist Master Thich Nhat Hanh, though her events are suitable for those of all faiths or none.
