Mindful Parenting for Happier, Calmer Families

Would you like to feel calmer and to enjoy family life more?

Mindful Parenting events CheshireIn this mindful parenting workshop you can explore how mindfulness helps you to release the tensions and anxieties that being a parent can bring, so that you can relax and have more fun.

By using simple mindfulness techniques you can explore how to build calm, clear lines of communication with others members of your family. You will learn how to develop self-compassion and nurture your own happiness, so that your positivity radiates out to warm those around you as you become more centred, confident and resilient.

This informal, inspiring evening is packed with practical tips and accompanied by information for you to take away.

Who can attend this mindful parenting event?

Your child or children can be of any age, from babies to adults.

It is suitable for complete beginners as well as those wishing to refresh their existing mindfulness practice. You will not be asked to join in any group activities apart from a short meditation, but will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions if you wish to do so.

Who will be running the evening?

Mindful Parenting mindfulness events ukThe event will be hosted by Katie Sheen, whose style is light, fun and fills you with confidence to enjoy using simple mindfulness techniques throughout each day, not just on the meditation cushion! Katie is a fully qualified teacher who has been practising mindfulness in her own life for over 16 years. She continues to study mindful living in the tradition of Zen Buddhist Master Thich Nhat Hanh, though her events are suitable for those of all faiths or none.
