This is an alternate Friday lunchtime mindfulness meditation class in Cheadle Hulme. It includes a seated and a walking meditation, both of which are guided so are suitable for complete beginners or those wishing to deepen their existing practice. Please arrive at 12:00 so that you have time to get settled into your space and ask any questions that you may have. The meditations begin at 12:15 and end at 12:45. There is no need to book, and each class costs £5.
Chairs will be provided for the seated meditation, or you are welcome to bring your own cushions/stool/mat.
Sessions are led by Katie Sheen of Soul Nutrition, who has been using mindfulness in her own life for over 16 years. Katie practices in the mindful tradition of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh, but these lunchtime meditations are suitable for those of all faiths or none.
Please sign in at the Reception of Equity Housing Group, on the corner of Station Road/Monmouth Road, Cheadle Hulme SK8 7EF in time to make your way up to the Boardroom with fabulous views, situated on the top floor of the building by 12:00.
You can access Reception either through the double doors on Station Road (under the big red square) or at lunchtime through the SKEight Social Enterprise Coffee Shop – a great place to meet friends and enjoy lunch or a drink before or after your meditation!
