Mindful Eating has been shown to support effective weight loss, settle digestive issues, enhance a positive relationship with food, and to bring a sense of calm into busy hearts and minds. On this one day course you can learn how to combine Mindful Eating with foods and nutrients known to support serotonin pathways and hence happiness, all under the guidance of Soul Nutrition Founder Katie Sheen.

Day One: Arrive for a 9am start to meet Katie and begin a one and a half hour introductory seminar about Mindful Eating, looking specifically at how these principles can be combined with eating patterns and food choices to support happiness.
Following a short break the rest of the day will have a schedule of one hour individual sessions with Katie for each participant. This time is used to explore in depth any individual health or dietary issues, and to develop a unique Nourishment Plan for you to take away with you.
Lunch will be taken together as a group with Katie in the Brasserie to fit in with the daily schedule.
When not participating in a group or 1:1 session you can enjoy full use of the Spa facilities to relax, reflect and unwind. Dinner will be taken at leisure in The Brasserie, and overnight accommodation is included.
Day Two: Enjoy breakfast in the hotel, then depart for home.

Why not stay on an extra day and put into practice what you have learned?
Katie has worked with Cookery School Head Chef, Hrishikesh Desai, to create a full day course that puts the theoretical elements of day one into practice. At 9am Katie will escort you over to the Cookery School and then leave you in the capable hands of Kesh so that you can learn how to prepare dishes and take home a recipe folder that contains notes and guidance related to the foods discussed on Day One.
Lunch is also included in the School.
Available on Tuesday 22nd July 2014, 9am-4pm in the Cookery School, the full day cookery course is priced as an extra to the Mindful Eating for Happiness package at £175 per person.

Katie’s private practice is based at Amaranth Health & Wellbeing Clinic in Bramhall, Cheshire, winners of the CAM Clinic of the Year 2010. She teaches in various academic settings including the MSc Nutritional Therapy course at University of Worcester & CPD events for Lamberts Healthcare, as well as running events for practitioners and the general public on subjects related to Mindfulness and Nutritional support for a wide range of health conditions.

Each interactive element of the website provides a framework for people to explore the relationship between happiness, food & well-being whilst enhancing a mindful approach to life and enabling positive change.
