Thanks again for the ‘Discovering Mindfulness’ session. Thought I would just share some of the actual comments from the team: I thought this was fantastic! Gave me more of an insight into myself than I thought. Keen to purchase the books and maybe enjoy living a bit more!! Me and my friend are going to look at the retreat!!! I really enjoyed all of the breathing sessions and would definitely take some of this with me into work and personal life. We can use the breakout idea in …

I started the 6 weeks ‘Be Calm, Be Happy’ mindfulness course over a year ago. I found the course really amazing. I learnt so much about meditation and mindfulness, and also ways of reducing stress and anxiety. Soon after finishing the course I started the weekly lunchtime drop-in meditation sessions in Cheadle Hulme, lasting less than an hour. I found them so calming and relaxing. Katie has an aura of peace and calm around her. I look forward to every week’s session and I try to apply the tea…
Katie took time to understand the exact nature of our work and hence the challenges that our team face on a daily basis. She then wrote and delivered an inspiring mindfulness workshop that provided practical strategies for each of the specific areas that we had identified, all of which could easily be incorporated into every day life.

My life was turned upside down by circumstances outside of my control, but being introduced to Katie and her work has got me back on track. She has demystified Mindfulness and equipped me with simple tools to use on a day to day basis. Now, I am reducing my anti-depressants, have stopped seeing my counsellor, am eating, exercising and sleeping better and feel stronger, calmer, happier and back in control. Katie is wise, patient, kind, joyous, humorous, professional and full of knowledge and e…

I have found your teaching to be a great source of both inspiration and guidance. I like the rigorous and comprehensive approach you have, challenging us to think but also demonstrating your expertise in a practical and functional way, combined with a strong scientific foundation. I also like some of your more personal and spiritual comments. Thank you.

I have just completed a four week mindful meditation course. I have tried before, but this time with Katie explaining so clearly and knowledgeably and using all her own and our experiences… I can finally say it has clicked!! I am practicing daily and feel calmer yet energised. I can wholly recommend her classes. Loved meeting the others in the group too who I also felt learned a lot. Here’s to more practice x

Katie taught part of our Nutritional Therapy diploma course and she is an extremely engaging and knowledgeable teacher. She manages the difficult task of combining scientific rigour with an innate understanding of the human condition – for me, she has the perfect balance of science and mindfulness techniques which I aim to put into practice now I am qualified. Katie has an amazing energy and aura, she brings calm to a room the moment she walks in! I’ve also used her Happiness Calendar …

Health and Wellbeing is high on our agenda to ensure our people are adequately educated and live long and happy lives. We wanted an external consultant to run a programme for our leadership and advisor population, Katie came highly recommended and certainly lived up to our expectations. We embraced her calming presence and positivity. In very interesting and ‘penny dropping’ sessions it brought to life that how we look and feel is down to our diet and mindset. Simple and easy changes ar…

Katie’s mindful approaches to nutrition day for practitioners was a really valuable asset to add to my toolbox as a therapist. I often refer back to her principles of mindful eating, both for myself in my daily practice of mindfulness and gratitude as well as for my clients. What I really love about this course is it is reminds us to really think about our relationship with food and the joy of food, which can often be distorted by the media and current food trends.
